Why Managed Care? 

Practicing Value-based care since its inception, it resonated with us immediately. It seemed like the natural solution to the drawbacks of the fee-for-service model. How can we best serve the aging population when it comes to their healthcare? Should quantity be valued more than quality? We didn’t think so. This meant building a new foundation for the standard of care. Value-based care embodies the values of why I became a physician, and more specifically an osteopathic family physician: to best serve my patients, to give them the best outcomes possible, and to treat their whole self. Unlike the fee-for-service model, it eliminates the delicate and often arduous balance of giving your patients the best care while trying to see enough patients to be financially successful.
